Greetings Tigers!
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! It is such a privilege to have worked at Ladonia for twenty-six years now. I am truly blessed to serve for a fifth year as this wonderful school’s principal. Last year we held many on campus activities in which parents were invited. For the upcoming year, we have planned even more parent involvement opportunities. I am looking forward to a productive partnership in an effort to help your child reach their highest potential.
This year our school theme is teamwork-ROARING toward Excellence. Reading instruction will play a virtual role here at Ladonia as we prepare all of our students to meet or exceed the academic requirements for the Alabama Literacy Act. Our students will learn to be model citizens in an ever-changing society by living out our motto: “R.O.A.R.” Our scholars are Responsible, Organized, Accountable, and Respectful. We want every Ladonia Tiger to be a champion as we strive together to achieve excellence in education! We will also continue our PBIS (positive behavior system) in which students earn and redeem points in the school store.
Because we are a partner alongside you in your child’s educational journey, we ask you to join our Facebook page, frequent our website, check and respond to emails, and stay informed through our various digital outlets. We know this partnership will definitely have a positive impact on your child’s academic future. To support your child’s education and ensure their success, we ask that you ensure your child:

Completes all assignments and homework given by the teacher

Exhibits kindness and respect to all staff members and other students
